Simplex single-mode patch cord with 8° angle-polished SC connectors for reflection-critical links. The APC polish holds return loss at 60 dB or better, making it the standard jumper for GPON, XGS-PON and RF-overlay networks. Fiber patch cords are factory-terminated jumpers that make the final connection between distribution panels and active equipment. Because every link crosses at least two of them, their connector quality directly sets the insertion-loss and return-loss budget of the whole channel.
